Effect: The Joy of High Summer is a party that occurs during the day of the summer solstice. It is a day that most religions decree as a day without work or toil of any kind and the preparations of this rite are usually made the day before. Sometimes, an entire town or city participates in this rite without even knowing it. Unlike other rituals, during the Joy of High Summer, participants may separate from the group for up to 10 minutes at a time without breaking their connection from the rite. Participants receive either a +1 to spell penetration checks or a +2 to three dexterity-based skill checks for 6 months.
